# Navigating the dashboard

The dashboard is at [stackship.run](https://stackship.run).

## Sidebar

| Group | Destinations |
| -------------- | -------------------------------------- |
| (top) | Overview, Runs |
| Infrastructure | Projects, Workspaces, Registry |
| Governance | Policies, Credentials |
| Organization | Members, Audit log, Settings |

You see only destinations your role can open. **Audit log** is visible only to
organization owners and admins.

Open the active organization at the top of the sidebar to switch
organizations, open organization settings, invite members, or create an
organization. The bottom of the sidebar holds **Help** (documentation, the
get-started guide, keyboard shortcuts, the API and CLI reference, and support)
and your account menu ([account settings](/authentication#manage-your-account)
and sign out).

Collapse the sidebar to an icon rail with the toggle in the top bar or
<kbd>⌘</kbd> <kbd>B</kbd> (<kbd>Ctrl</kbd> <kbd>B</kbd> on Windows and Linux).
On small screens the same toggle opens the sidebar.

## Top bar and page header

The top bar holds breadcrumbs, search, and a documentation link. Project and
workspace crumbs include a switcher for jumping to a sibling.

Page actions sit on the right of the page header; rare or destructive ones are
under **More actions**. Pages with sections, such as workspaces, show them as
tabs in the header.

## Command menu

Press <kbd>⌘</kbd> <kbd>K</kbd> (<kbd>Ctrl</kbd> <kbd>K</kbd>) or select
**Search** to:

- go to any sidebar destination, your account settings, or the get-started
  guide;
- open any workspace or project by name or slug;
- start a create flow your role allows — workspace, project, policy set,
  credential profile, or module — or invite a member;
- switch to another organization you belong to; and
- paste an ID such as `run_…`, `ws_…`, `prj_…`, `pol_…`, or `mod_…` to open
  it directly.

## Keyboard shortcuts

Press <kbd>?</kbd> to see every shortcut.

| Keys | Action |
| --------------------------- | ---------------------------- |
| <kbd>⌘</kbd> <kbd>K</kbd> | Open the command menu |
| <kbd>⌘</kbd> <kbd>B</kbd> | Collapse or expand the sidebar |
| <kbd>?</kbd> | Show keyboard shortcuts |
| <kbd>/</kbd> | Focus the page's filter |
| <kbd>G</kbd> <kbd>D</kbd> | Overview |
| <kbd>G</kbd> <kbd>R</kbd> | Runs |
| <kbd>G</kbd> <kbd>P</kbd> | Projects |
| <kbd>G</kbd> <kbd>W</kbd> | Workspaces |
| <kbd>G</kbd> <kbd>M</kbd> | Registry |
| <kbd>G</kbd> <kbd>L</kbd> | Policies |
| <kbd>G</kbd> <kbd>C</kbd> | Credentials |
| <kbd>G</kbd> <kbd>U</kbd> | Members |
| <kbd>G</kbd> <kbd>A</kbd> | Audit log |
| <kbd>G</kbd> <kbd>S</kbd> | Organization settings |
| <kbd>G</kbd> <kbd>Y</kbd> | Account settings |

No shortcut approves, applies, discards, or deletes anything. If the
single-key shortcuts (<kbd>G</kbd> chords, <kbd>?</kbd>, and <kbd>/</kbd>)
conflict with assistive technology, turn them off in the shortcut reference or
in account settings.

## Overview

**Overview** shows:

- **Set up your organization** — a checklist shown until every step is done:
connect GitHub, create a project, create a workspace, run a first plan, and
invite a teammate. You can hide it.
- **Run health** — active runs, runs awaiting approval, and failed and
successful runs from the last seven days.
- **Needs attention** — each run awaiting approval, blocked on plan
credentials, needing recovery, or failed in the last seven days, newest
  first.
- **Recent activity** — the newest runs across the organization.
- **Workspaces** — each workspace with the outcome of its latest run.

Successful runs and recent activity cover the latest 100 runs; **Runs** holds
the full history.

## Troubleshooting

- **A page fails to load.** Select **Try again**. If it keeps failing, email
the reference shown on the page to `support@stackship.run`.
- **You see Not found.** The resource doesn't exist, belongs to another
organization, or your role can't access it. Check the active organization
  in the sidebar.
